Welcome, and thank you for your interest in learning more about me.
The first 20+ years of my career were devoted to helping shift the negative life trajectories of vulnerable children, young people and families. During this time, I experienced all manner of complex interpersonal relationships within families, heartbreaking trauma responses in individuals, and workplaces suffering from the impacts of vicarious trauma and toxic team dynamics.
Cultivating healthy workplace dynamics
I have seen people operating at their best, and at their worst. As a result, I can quickly identify and unpick issues affecting the health of relationships and the way teams function in the workplace.
As an independent consultant, I am applying everything I have learned to help improve the health of teams and organisations in all sectors of the workforce.

Specialising in trauma-informed practice
For two decades, I experienced a wide range of care models in disability, mental health, special education, out-of-home care and Aboriginal childcare services. This included caring for deeply traumatised children in both community-based and state-run residential care homes.
More than 10 years of this time was spent immersed in the well-established therapeutic milieu workplaces of The Mulberry Bush School in the United Kingdom and Lighthouse Foundation in Australia. This experience has given me a practical understanding of genuinely therapeutic care practices.
Developing high-performing teams
I now draw on this rich career experience, together with the latest research and evidence-based approaches, to empower organisational leaders, teams and frontline workers to better manage their own wellbeing and deliver optimal outcomes.
Thank you for considering my services. I look forward to meeting you and discussing how I can be of service to you and your organisation.
